How I work

I have been a licensed clinician since 1999, and have worked as a psychotherapist, medical social worker, hospice provider, and trainer of counselors. Through these experiences, I’ve developed a broad set of change strategies, and draw on Mindful Self-Compassion, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Internal Family Systems, and Harm Reduction. Which tools we use depends on your needs and your situation in the moment, and I draw on Trauma-Informed care to create a sense of safety as we move forward.

I’m a grounded, warm, and honest presence, here to support you compassionately, while also helping you see yourself and your situation clearly. I identify as a queer woman, a feminist, am gender-affirming, and supportive of racial and social justice.

I’ve worked with adults of all ages, from different backgrounds, and in different phases of life. Every challenge is unique, and deserves to be processed in a safe and supportive space.
